Congratulations Natick!

Today, the voters of Natick came together as a community and passed Question 2 for a new Natick High.

On behalf of the Now! For Natick High Committee, we want to thank the voters of Natick for their overwhelming support of Question 2 on election day. By voting “Yes” on Question 2, Natick residents have ensured that the children of Natick will have the educationally-superior high school they need to learn and compete in today’s world. No more leaky roofs, no more freezing temperatures in the winter, no more 1950s science labs. In the fall of 2012, a new Natick High School will welcome students to a facility worthy of this great town.

We would also like to thank Natick Superintendent Peter Sanchioni, the Natick School Committee and the Natick High School Building Committee for their work to bring this project from an idea to reality.

And we would be remiss if we didn’t thank the dozens of Natick residents who volunteered their nights and weekends to hold signs, make phone calls and walk their streets to convince their neighbors that this town needs a new high school. Without this army of volunteers, we could never have communicated the message that building a new high school is the best option for the town. Thankfully, the voters of Natick agreed.

Finally, we urge Natick residents to consider donating to the Elderly and Disabled Taxation Fund. Information about how to contribute is on your tax bill.

Now! For Natick High

An opportunity we can’t afford to miss.

Natick has a great opportunity: solve our Natick High building crisis now, and the state will pay almost half the cost. Our community role is to vote to pass a debt exclusion override on March 30. The cost to homeowners will be just under $200/year (translates to 55¢/day).* Please use this website to learn why YES is the vote for fiscal responsibility. On March 30, vote YES for a new Natick High.
